Diesel Mechanic / Shop Mechanic

- Responsibilities

· Inspect machinery, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues

· Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability

· Trouble shoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner

· Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems

· Perform daily tasks in a safe and workman like manner in accordance with company policies.

· Perform JSA safety meeting going over tasks daily

· Attend monthly safety meeting

· Wire feed and stick welding knowledge

· Other related duties as assigned

- Requirements

· Have good communications skills

· Have problem solving skills

· Be available to work in the field and various shifts as directed by supervisor

· Field mechanics must be able to work independently with little supervision

· Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record

· Must possess own tools

· Wire feed and stick welding knowledge

$28 - $30 per hour depending on experience.
