Job Title: Marketing Manager

Pay: $20-$21 per hour/$41,600-$43,680 per year base salary/Plus Commission

Working Hours: This is a full-time position working hours between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

 

Primary Role: Promote and sell franchise services in assigned territories, which results in meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals. Grow and develop residential and commercial customer base by utilizing a systematic business development process (Route Selling) to identify new commercial prospects and cultivate relationships using marketing materials like SERVPRO® Key Differentiators, Emergency Ready Plan, National sponsorships, and others to market and sell SERVPRO® Services. Attend, coordinate, and promote marketing, networking, and continuing education events. Monitor loss activity and priority responding to generate work from these opportunities. Provide and communicate clear and accurate scoping of services and job estimates. Monitor and follow up on all assigned jobs, ensuring customer needs are met and all applicable Centers of Influence (COIs) are identified and captured for future reference. Perform all marketing administrative tasks related to daily route preparation, quality control data, referral source follow-up, key measurement, scoreboard, and marketing/sales plan updates. Develop and implement an annual marketing plan, which promotes Franchise services and develops a diverse customer base.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Customer Satisfaction
  2. Monitor, communicate, and respond to customer needs.
    • Monitor customer satisfaction by reviewing customer satisfaction forms, conducting follow-up phone calls, and doing follow-up visits to ensure customers are satisfied.
    • Identify and implement activities for incremental improvement.
  3. Manage communication with centers of influence (COIs).
  4. Complete Annual Marketing Needs Assessment
  5. Develop an annual marketing needs assessment.
    • Identify all annual marketing objectives, ensuring a structured improvement plan is in place to execute each year.
    • Identify revenue, collection, and activity goals; compare past and projected revenues to marketing goals; and establish goals for revenue and activities.
    • Establish goals for revenue, collections, and activities to identify annual objectives.
  1. Manage master contact list.
  • Ensure all potential COIs are identified and all contacts are routed with sales territories defined.

Experience and Skill Set:

  • A minimum of two years of progressively responsible business-to-business sales experience
  • Experience with sales and marketing within the service sector
  • Superb sales, customer service, administrative, and verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong business and financial background and process- and results-driven attitude
  • Experience in the commercial cleaning and restoration or insurance industry is desired

 

Formal Education/Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field preferred
