Schedule, coordinate and supervise craft employee activities - may involve supervising one or more trade groups and/or subcontractors on the project site. You shall work closely with your Project Manager regarding all project activities. Project Superintendents are encouraged to keep all lines of communication open with the Project Manager and Division Manager.


· Thoroughly review project documents including plans and specifications

· Thoroughly review all subcontracts and purchase orders

· Meet with Project Manager/Estimator and Operations Manager regarding how the project was bid, labor burden, equipment costs, etc.

· Understand all items of work and know the budget for each work item

· Endeavor to meet or better construction budget

· Become familiar with scheduling requirements in an attempt to achieve or beat the project schedule

· Manage & Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers on the project

· Handle daily project problems with assistance from Project Manager as required

· Layout projects for building locations and site work

· Verify field dimensions when necessary

· Review all submittals and keep them filed in an orderly fashion

· Keep job site safe and clean

· Responsible for Project Safety and EEO

· Keep office trailer and tool room/truck clean and orderly

· Hire and lay off workers as required

· Quality control on our work and subcontractors

· Coordinate problem resolution with engineer and owner

· Maintain equipment

· Compile all field paperwork

· Coordinate all project related activities

· Ensure that required equipment is on the project when needed

· Help in keeping track of change order work and extra work

· Monitor and ensure that punch list items are completed in a timely manner

· Review cost sheets and keep updated with the help of the Project Manager

· Review job costs

· Monitor production costs

· Coordinate weekly subcontractor’s meetings

Education and experience preference: Must have 5 years of construction management experience or equivalent and five or more years of applied experience in construction management with emphasis in industrial, commercial, or residential. Prefer a bachelor’s degree in a construction background.


· This position reports to the Operations Manager or Project Manager. This position makes decisions and recommendations, which can greatly impact corporate relationship with Client and project profitability.

· This role is based out of the Cheyenne, WY office, but travel to projects will be required at times with this position.

· Computer skills required.


Carpenter Job Summary

We are currently seeking a highly-skilled Carpenter to join our team. You will collaborate with the project manager and building team to construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, wallboard, and laminate. Structures include building frameworks, partitions, door and window frames, wooden stairways, rafters, and flooring. You must know how to read and interpret blueprints, work with raw and finish materials, and have a good working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment. Many of our projects run through nights and weekends, so a flexible schedule is required.

Carpenter Duties and Responsibilities

· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches and to understand project specifications

· Take measurements and calculate the sizes and amounts of materials needed for the project

· Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements

· Build window frames, doors, staircases, brattices, frame buildings, and other structures by using raw materials or pre-constructed items

· Install hardwood floors, siding, cabinets, drywall, and insulation

· Inspect products and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed

· Comply with all company and governmental safety guidelines

Carpenter Requirements and Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Completion of a carpentry program at a vocational school or carpentry apprenticeship preferred

· 2+ years of professional carpentry experience a plus

· Strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including installation and construction

· Proficient in using electrical and hand tools as well as measurement tools

· Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

· Good physical condition, stamina, and dexterity.



Responsibilities: - Perform a variety of skilled tasks in construction, maintenance, and repair projects Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment Operate and maintain various tools and equipment required for the job Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines Assist in the setup and cleanup of work areas Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or other trade-related tasks as needed

Cleans work areas, tools, equipment, materials etc.

Lifts, carries, and holds building materials, tools, and supplies.

Digs, spreads, and levels dirt and gravel, using pick, rake, and shovel.

Moving and transferring from job to job as projects progress and work is available.

Work with other workers in a cooperative manner.

Willing to do general laborer work (e.g. Sweep, clean up job site, run errands, use hammer and saw, dig trenches, etc.) - Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Skills: - Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment relevant to the job - Strong knowledge of construction techniques and materials - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions
