Service Writer
Kia of Cheyenne is seeking a service writer, hiring immediately.
Service Writer Job Duties
-Greet incoming customers and address their needs and concerns
-Write up customers information, receive their keys and start a repair order if a walk in or
-Schedule the customers oil change/repair/recall in a manner that doesn’t conflict with other customers appointments and giving the technicians enough time to compete each job
-Receive multiple phone calls a day for scheduling appointments
-Follow up phone call with customers daily with an update of the status of their vehicle
-Generate quotes for customers regarding repairs
-Generate repair order in our system - AutoSoft
-Review what was done with the customer when they pick up their vehicle
-Communicate with extended warranty companies to make sure what is being done is covered under the warranty
-Communicate and follow the factory warranty guidelines regarding pre delivery inspections
-Communicate and follow the factory warranty guidelines regarding any repair that may be covered
-Managing the detailers with their job duties and time management
-Communicate with insurance companies if repair is covered by customers insurance
Requirements
-Experience preferred
-Valid driver license
-Customer service oriented
-Must be organized
-Able to work in a fast-paced environment
-Communicating within all departments for customer satisfaction
-Able to use multi-line phone system
-Checking voicemails and following up with customer
-Keeping a clean, well-organized area
-Computer skills – fast typing
