Overview: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman or Apprentice Plumber to join our team at Dugans Complete Plumbing Systems. This is a full-time position paying $24-$32 per hour DOE and licensing. There are also various bonus opportunities available.  

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues, providing effective solutions.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, building codes, and technical drawings.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Inspect and test plumbing systems for leaks, proper functionality, and safety.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Supervise and mentor Apprentice Plumbers, providing training and guidance as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to explain plumbing issues and solutions.
  • Respond to emergency calls and resolve urgent plumbing issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
  • Ensure job sites are safe, organized, and clean at all times.
  • Perform basic plumbing tasks such as cutting, measuring, and assembling pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
  • Learn to troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues under supervision.
  • Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times.
  • Assist with maintaining clean and organized work sites.
  • Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials for job sites.
  • Maintain and clean plumbing tools and equipment.
  • Help with the preparation of plumbing systems and projects, including digging trenches, setting pipes, and assembling pipe sections.
  • Work with customers to ensure plumbing needs are met in a professional manner.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Desire to pursue a career in plumbing.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and working in tight spaces.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing tools and systems is a plus.
  • Strong willingness to learn and follow instructions.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit, able to lift heavy materials, and work in confined spaces.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in construction, maintenance, or a trade-related field.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Basic understanding of plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Familiarity with safety practices and regulations.
  • Additional certifications in specialized plumbing fields (e.g., gas, backflow prevention).
  • Experience with both residential and commercial plumbing projects.
  • OSHA or other safety certifications.

Physical Demands:
  • Comfortable working in tight spaces, at heights, and in various weather conditions.
  • Capable of performing physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work in various environments, including construction sites and residential properties.
  • Frequent bending, lifting, and carrying heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
  • Ability to work in confined spaces or at heights as required by the job.
  • Occasional on-call or after-hours work as needed for emergency services.
