General Laborer
Summary
A general laborer is responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations. The duties and responsibilities of a laborer are all geared toward maintaining clean, safe and efficient work areas while also supporting the overall projects.
The list of duties and responsibilities for a laborer on any given day may include the following:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
⦁ Ensure quality of work showing an eye for detail
⦁ Ensure that time is properly tracked and allocated to each job
⦁ Maintain a safe, clean work environment on each job
⦁ To be punctual and available for a minimum of 40hrs of work per week
⦁ Pull flatbed trailers for pick up and delivery of parts
⦁ Perform work in accordance with Clean Energy Cryogenics Inc. documented policies and procedures
Represent Clean Energy in a professional manner to any external stakeholders at the site, such as representatives of the Fire Department, the owner or owner's representative, and field service technicians.
Requires periodic travel to job sites up to two weeks or more at a time
Other duties as assigned.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
⦁ High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) Preferred
⦁ Light Mechanical with the ability to use proficiently:
⦁ Hand Tools (Wrench, Pliers, Screw Driver, Etc.)
⦁ Power Tools (Drill, Grinder, Portaband, Etc.)
⦁ Tape Measure
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, policies and procedures, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to use logic and reasoning.
Computer Skills
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Physical Demands

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally move up to 75 pounds.
